Are You Kidding Me??????

This picture pretty much says it all. This is me. I fractured my right foot and so now I get to wear this pretty "shoe" for 4-6 weeks. Luckily it matches with all my clothes so it shouldn't be a problem(sarcasm is dripping off the page). How cruel is life? Here I am as a new mom trying to get my pre-pregnancy body back when all of a sudden exercise is no longer permitted. Actually I am allowed to swim (but what new mom wants to be in a swimming suit???) and I can ride an exercise bike but it has to have basically no resistance. So it will be interesting to say the least.

So this is my "poor me" post. It's the first post that isn't about my baby though. I never have exciting things to post about me usually. And I wouldn't even call this exciting. Just very maddening. Oh yea-I fractured my foot by walking down the stairs, carrying Carter in his car seat, and at the bottom of the stairs was a shoe, which I stepped wrong on. And yes-it was my shoe that I had taken off earlier. I wish I could blame it on Neil.................

Amanda, LOVE the new shoe!! Where can I get one?!?! I am so sorry that happened, and in the heat of summer?! That really stinks! Have fun taking it easy!

So, you guessed right- something was pretty wrong. That totally sucks. I can't believe it's fractured!! You aren't going to die someday, you're just going to go a piece at a time, let's be honest.....

And this time I can honestly say I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GOING THROUGH and I totally feel for you. In your words, "Wanna race???"

Man, GIRL that stinks. By the way you look great. I am so sorry that happened. There always seem to be challenges. I guess you will be more careful with your shoes from now on!!!

Yes Brielle, I will be much more careful with my shoes. Luckily this new boot can get over anything! It's like an all-terrain shoe.

Isn't it crazy sometimes the things we are dealt with in life...didn't you have issues with your foot in high school or something? Is it the same one? You are a babe so don't worry about the weight loss thing-you look great to me! We haven't found a house yet but the job is in Burley. I told Darren that Rupert is NOT an option!

I was going to feel sorry for you, until your las comment on my blog. But yes, I do know. I'll tell you, I just don't want the whole blog world to know. I've worked hard on it.
