Time Out

Carter is no stranger to time out. And now, neither is his monkey. Not only does Monkey need frequent diaper changes, he now needs time out. He uses the same time out bench as Carter. What will we do if they need it at the same time?!!?

Putting monkey on the bench. He started talking (incoherently) to monkey. I am assuming he was explaining why he was sitting in time out.

Monkey sat there without any tears or any yelling. Quite the opposite of Carter's time outs.

After monkey said sorry, he got a big hug from Carter and off they went to play!
Last night at bed time after stories and teeth brushing I put Carter in his crib. He asked for monkey and we couldn't find him anywhere. Carter was getting a little upset and finally I found Monkey sitting on the time out chair! So glad we found him.

He he he! I love this! Sounds like both Carter and Monkey have the routine down pat. :)

Isn't that funny that kids do that? They really DO understand punishments... so why do they still throw a fit when they have to go to timeout themselves? Those pictures are so cute. So funny that monkey was in time out (probably for hours) when he was missing at bedtime. I wonder what he did?? Cute timeout bench, by the way.....

Chloe and Mitch have both put their lovies and dolls in timeout, but more recently with Mitch starting to potty train, he takes his lovies and helps them sit on the toilet and go potty. He even wipes them.... very funny.
