Happy Easter

Carter's Easter was a success. Because the Easter Bunny had to bring his presents in a suitcase to Seattle, she went kind of light this year. The Easter Bunny brought Carter bouncy balls and candy. And he couldn't have been happier.

He didn't care much for the eggs until he realized that there was candy inside!

I took Carter to his first Easter Egg Hunt and it was a bust-at least for him. He didn't understand why he couldn't run out there before the designated time.

Once the hunt started I told Carter to "get the eggs and put them in his basket." 2 things you should know: 1) anything semi-round is a ball to Carter. And 2) a basket always means basketball. And this hunt was held on a basketball court so Carter grabbed his first egg, and went for the basket and tried to make a hoop. Poor guy was getting so frustrated that the hoop was so high.
Needless to say he only got a few eggs. I showed him that there was candy inside and he got excited. I then realized it was all candy Carter couldn't have because of his allergies. So then he was mad because he couldn't eat the candy. I ran back to the car to grab some fruit snacks. Fruit snacks ALWAYS save the day for Carter. This was no exception.
Here he is crying before the hunt because I was containing him behind the line.

We attempted to get a few shots of Carter in his Easter outfit but he kept getting distracted and we got no good ones. Stanley couldn't be left out and so he made himself at home. And there happened to be a plane flying overhead and Carter can hear a plane from thousands of miles away. But at least Stanley is looking at the camera!!
