Male Bonding

We had a family vacation over the 4th and Carter's cousin Mitchell was there. They spent 2 weeks straight, together, 24/7. They had so much fun together and rarely ever fought. There was an incident with Mitchell pouring a bottle of bubbles over Carter's head....but that's a different story. After this trip I am convinced that Carter needs a brother. Is there a way to give birth to a 3 year old??!?

The boys relaxing on the beach together.

They went everywhere together and were so great to look out for each other.

Yes, we dressed them a like for one day. And yes Neil was embarrassed. But yes, my sister and I thought it was cute. Here are the boys with Great Grandma whom they both loved.

Carter was such a copy cat to Mitchell. He followed his every move.

Carter got Mitchell hooked on his favorite show "Super Why." These boys were on the go constantly until we popped on Super Why and then they both melted into the couch and were completely mesmerized. Here they are interacting to the show together!

Mitchell has 3 sisters and Carter has 2 boring parents, so they needed some male bonding. Someone to be naughty and/or silly with!
Funny story: One day I discovered that "someone" had gone through my purse and pulled out all of my gum and unwrapped it, AND hid it behind the quilt rack. I called both boys over and showed them my discovery and asked who did this....they both turned, pointed at each other and said "Mitchell did it/Carter did it!" (I'm pretty sure it was Carter because he knows where to find my gum and none of the gum was chewed where as Mitchell would have chewed all of it I think!)

Finally sitting down together to enjoy a quick treat to get more energy for the rest of the day!
We miss you Mitchell and Carter asks for you everyday. Can't wait to see you again and to play real soon. We love you!

Mitchell saw the first picture and said "Me and Carter!" (Or "Cai-ya" as Mitch pronounces it). Then he saw the pic of him and Carter on the couch and said "We were watching Super Why!"

It was amazing how well they got along, besides the bubble incident and Mitch wanting to hold Carter's hand constantly, which Carter didn't love. I would rather have them be michevious and naughty together, having fun and being nice to each other, than fighting all the time. It was perfect. Those two boys in the craft stores being naughty will be something I'll never forget! Can't wait to see you guys again, too- SOON!

How fun! They look like they are the best of friends! I think the Andros family should move to Utah so they can be together more!!!
