A Boy and His Toys

Carter has some new loves as of late. And with the weather getting warmer I think we will see more of these activities!

Carter loves to help Daddy in the garden. He wanted to help rake but refused to put down his sippy cup. Why is he so obsessed with that thing?

Carter's favorite toy now is his "trouble." He loves to get his shovel and help dig. Is it too early to make him pull weeds? I think not.....
Carter got a new bike and I'm not sure who was more excited-Neil or Carter. I'm putting my money on Neil though. This bike has no pedals and no training wheels and it's suppose to help them learn to balance early and never need training wheels. We will see!
He's really starting to get the hang of it though and can balance better each time. Neil predicts that he will be out on the trails next summer. Once again, we will see:)

We just planted our garden on Saturday and my kids were in heaven- we can't wait for all the warm weather to stay so they can play outside every day, all day. Little boys make great helpers, though.... :) Of course he needs his "milkies" while planting the garden. Who doesn't?

Ahh... the torture of weeding the garden. I HATED weeding the garden as a kid, but you need to start him early so he's used to it by the time he doesn't like it.

He looks so determined on that bike. So cute. LEt me know if it works- we are planning on helping Chloe ride without training wheels this summer- it's a hard job. That would be so neat if he could ride without training wheels by 2 or 3!! That's just great that he'll get on it and try it.

All children and grandchildren are welcome to come to my house this summer to practice weeding! We haven't planted anything yet but potatoes. It's too cold and wet.
