September '13

We had to finish off the summer with a visit to our favorite sno-cone shack in town.  "Pinks" was right down the road and we visited this place many times during the summer.  I wish I could say the boys liked it more than we did, but it also became Neil and I's favorite place.  Fresh cream, strawberries and ice cream in your sno-cone?  Yes please, and make it a large!  Even Jackson could get in on this treat as long as we did reduced syrup on his.  We got smart and brought our own bowl to put his in.

September brought Carter's first trip to bike Green Canyon with his dad.  He is as obsessed with biking as his dad is.

Carter participated in his school's Tri-School Trot to raise money for a computer lab.  He took this task very seriously and ran the entire mile, with only a couple little breaks.

September brought an emergency visit to Primary Children's on a Saturday for a cracked line.  Poor Jackson is such an old Professional at this that he made himself comfy during the procedure and fell fast asleep.  He didn't even cry when they made him mask up, which he isn't required to do at home.

He was so patient with the nurse who did the repair as she dropped sterile tools several times and had to start over 3 separate times.  After the repair was done he woke up and we treated him to his favorite cafeteria food downstairs!

We got a family hike in while the weather was perfect and Carter only whined about half the way:)

Sometimes there is no time to stop playing to get a diaper change until it is so wet that it sags to your knees.

Saturday morning cartoons with Daddy in bed is the best.

Jax is such a good boy. It's so sad to see him in a hospital bed, but he looks so adorable with his flip flops on. Flip flops go great with a mask and hospital gown. :)

Your family hiking picture is super cute. Mitch whines when he hikes too. It is special.
