This is Carter and his cousin Mitchell(8 months older). They got to spend a week together last week. Mitchell is OBSESSED with holding hands and doesn't care whose hand he holds. While at Cosco he desperately wanted to hold Carter's hand but Carter really didn't want anything to do with that. He has a strict "No public PDA." Do you know how many times I got asked if these were both my children? All while people are not even trying to hide their shock and disgust as they asked me that.... 
Carter will not get up on his knees to crawl, but he will get up on his knees to sleep. Go figure
I call this picture "If Carter were a girl" and called him Cartina! He was not happy and he's actually crying in this picture but of course as soon as he saw the camera, a smile emerged through the tears. This kid loves the camera....reminds me of Derek Zoolander and his love for the camera. Although his eyebrows don't do anything for his feminine side! I'm sure I will have to start plucking them soon.....

Ok so I have to ask, why were they so disgusted that you might have two little boys? I'm confused. That's awesome that he sleeps on his knees. He's probably practicing crawling in his sleep... awesome!
They were disgusted to think that I would have 2 kids 9 months apart. Accidents do happen (although I'm glad one didn't!!)
He is so cute I can't stand it! I love that he "talks" on the phone and smiles for the camera! I usually just get a blank stare from Casen.I can't believe he is almost 1!!! And can I just say that you look fabulous...really, I am so jealous!
maybe he was crying because you put a bow on his head and called him cartina
